Growing up in the 60's, every TV show and product had its own jingle. You could trust your car to the man who wore the star, or know that Green Acres is the place to be. It was always so much fun to learn the words and music, then hum the ditties while driving the car or mowing the lawn.
As a child, it was always more fun to watch the commercials than the shows. Folger's coffee did a whole series of commercials where the couple met, fell in love, and we got to see them get engaged. Now days, my only highlights are the Wednesday Camel, Tarzan and Jane fighting over directions, and Cookie monster using a smart phone.
Oh for the days of yesteryear.
Happy Wednesday, ya'll.
